Ready to take your crochet skills a step further? Creative Crochet is a workshop series for those who already know their way around a hook and yarn and are excited to explore new techniques, experiment, and create together in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Each month features a different theme:
May – Upcycled Crochet
In this special upcycling edition, we’ll turn old clothes into yarn and give them new life through crochet. You’re encouraged to bring your own worn-out garments (think T-shirts, leggings, jeans etc), and if you have a large hook (size 10–15 mm), bring it along too! I’ll also have some clothes to use and hooks available for purchase at the workshop for a small fee. Expect a fun, hands-on evening of sustainable crafting and creativity.
June – Freehand Crochet Bralettes
This isn’t just any crochet pattern—we’ll be making bralettes that are tailor-made to fit your body perfectly, freehand-style. I’ll guide you through the process of shaping and adjusting as you go, so you can create a one-of-a-kind piece that feels as good as it looks.
You don’t need a set pattern—just your hook, some yarn, and a willingness to experiment! Bring your own materials if you like, or choose from a selection of summery yarns available for a small fee. Whether you're a confident beginner or a more experienced crocheter looking to explore freeform shaping, this will be a relaxed and creative evening of crafting, learning, and making something uniquely yours.
